They say you should never meet your heros, but I have been such a fan of Mikey’s work for a lonnng time, and I can honestly say he is one of the loveliest, and genuinely talented people I’ve met! He is a natural teacher, and so generous in sharing his skills and knowledge. His colour work is next to none, and he articulates each part of his creating process so beautifully. I have no doubt everyone at the workshop left feeling completely inspired and in awe.
Here are few images of our couple of days learning together. We watched demos by Mikey of bouquets, footed bowl table arrangements, and created a large desert inspired installation together as a group. We finished the workshop with some table styling tips, followed by drinks, nibbles, and LOTS of dancing!
