In April 2024, I visited Emily from Fleuropean’s picturesque chateau in Belgium for an artist’s retreat. I think the images speak for themselves, but we spent just under a week together, free to explore the endless gardens and surrounding countryside to forage from the beautiful spring selection curated perfectly by Emily.
We watched demonstrations by Emily in the mornings, and were left to our own devices during the day to feel inspired, and create together in Emily’s stunning studio space. We ate lunch together every day, and dined together at night surrounded by our daily creations.
Emily was such a kind and generous soul, it was an absolute pleasure to meet and spend time with her at her beautiful home. I was also fortunate to have spent the week with the loveliest women, some of who have become my good friends!
